ZIQ Office — A Workspace Inspired by Motion and Nature
When we began working on ZIQ Office in Dubai, our goal wasn’t just to design a beautiful interior. We wanted the space to reflect the brand’s character, foster focus, inspire creativity, and simply be a place people would genuinely enjoy spending time in every day.
This project brought together interior design, visualization, and a living concept of nature into one cohesive, intentional solution. It didn’t start with a brief — it started with a feeling.
From Inspiration to Space
One of our initial sparks came after visiting an exhibition in Rome, where a fabric installation moved effortlessly in the airflow — smooth, natural, unforced. That movement became a visual metaphor for us — evoking nature, air, and freedom. We wanted to bring that sensation into the interior: free of rigid boundaries, pressure, or clutter, with flowing shapes and light.
A Calm Interior Mood
The ZIQ Office interior is restrained but not cold. Clean lines, muted tones, and soft lighting come together to create a sense of order and calm. The space doesn’t overwhelm or distract — it grounds you and helps you concentrate.
A deep shade of blue runs throughout the interior. More than just a color, it became a focal point — a way to set the tone. Blue connects the zones, creates rhythm, and subtly tunes the space into a work-oriented atmosphere.
3D Visualization as a Tool for Precise Communication
3D visualization for us was more than a way to present the interior — it was a key instrument for conveying the design concept to the client.
As a visualization studio, we carefully chose each angle, crafted lighting scenarios, and refined the textures to communicate the atmosphere of the future space with maximum clarity.
Our aim was not only to reflect the architecture but to highlight its purpose, character, and mood. The visualizations allow you to see not just how the project looks — but how it feels. It’s a visual language through which we tell the story of the interior — clearly, consistently, and with attention to every detail.
Materials That Invite Touch
We used simple yet expressive materials: smooth metal, transparent glass, matte textiles, and real sand. We wanted the space to be tactile — something you experience not just with your eyes, but with your skin, your body, your breath.
Special attention was given to the sand room — a capsule where architecture, nature, and light come together. It's a small but significant space filled with real sand, plants, and a sculptural backlit ceiling. It serves as both a visual and emotional pause within the office.
Functionality Rooted in Care
We thought not only about aesthetics but about everyday experience. How a person moves. Where they sit. What they see. How the lighting changes throughout the day.
- Lighting adapts to biological rhythms.
- Zones support different work formats: dialogue, focus, meetings.
- Furniture and layout are tailored to the team’s needs.
Everything here is purposeful — with people in mind.
Blue as a Language of Atmosphere
Why blue? Because it works. It’s a color of calm, focus, and confidence. It doesn’t demand attention — but it’s impossible to ignore. Psychologically, it helps you gather your thoughts, ease tension, and get into a work mindset.
We used it sparingly — in textiles, lighting, and accents. It became part of the interior’s language, supporting the overall idea: quiet, structure, mood.
What This Project Says About Us
ZIQ Office isn’t just an interior design case. It’s a story about how light, color, and material can convey a feeling — simple, alive, and intuitive.
We approached this project as a team — with curiosity, attention to detail, and imagination. And we wanted that to come through — not only in the renderings but in the concept itself.
ZIQ is an office where you don’t have to “switch on” — it switches you on. A space that doesn’t distract, but supports. A design that doesn’t perform — it works. For people, for purpose, for the future.
